Designed by John Burgee Architects, Takashimaya constructed the building in 1993 as it's U.S. headquarters and Flagship New York department store. The design was to reveal a new retail concept - a shopping environment with the feeling of a personal home, featuring soaring ceilings, residential lighting and artfully decorated stone floors. In 2011 Thor  Equities purchased the property and hired Real Estate Arts to help reposition and showcase its strength. Located on 55th street in the heart of the prestigious Fifth Avenue retail corridor, home to some of the highest profile, luxury brands in the world.

Fashion connoisseur Aerin Lauder has long been considered the face of her family’s cosmetics company and the one most often compared to her legendary grandmother, Estee Lauder. Now she is using her style sense to start her own luxury lifestyle brand, AERIN, which will offer accessories, jewelry, eyewear, home products, and a beauty line.

The brochure was used to highlight the experience of Gene Spiegelman a retail consultant from Cushman &#38; Wakefield while showcasing his ability to guide site selections for luxury brands.
